March 29th, 2024 - Cesar Chavez Day Art Camp (OUSD observed)

from $150.00

On Cesar Chavez Day, we’ll turn our eye toward indigenous art of western Mexico, and the Huichol people.

Ojos de Dios - God’s eyes - symbolizes the ability to see and understand unseen things. They are created to honor nature and the natural cycles of life. The four points of the crossed sticks represent earth, air, water and fire. After a short instruction and demonstration we will create our own Ojos de Dios. There will also be plenty of time for self explorative drawing and painting and plain ol' fun.

March 29th ~ 9am-3pm $150.00

~ Art supplies are included
