Jan 15th, 2024 MLK Jr. Day - In Celebration of Change Makers

Monday, January 15th - 9am to 3pm
Ages 6 - 10 years old

Let's make art in celebration of change makers, both historical and personal. We will start the day with meditative/free drawing, then discuss different ways to depict our subjects such as portraiture, figure drawing, collage and more. The young artists are free to bring pictures of their personal change-maker (grandparents, aunts/uncles, teachers, etc) to work from, or work on a known historical figure, like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
