Oakland Unified has a No-School Day, so join us in some Creative Art Making!
Let's make art just for the love of it. We will start the day with meditative drawing and after our morning break we will collectively decide the theme of the day. Often young artists are interested in learning human forms; portrait or figure drawing. Other times animals or landscape. With very simple fundamental techniques we can learn to draw beautifully while still expressing our individuality.
